Hot day in the City

N is sailing down to glamorous Stockton today, so Alec and I are having fun on our own. We started the day at the Alemany Farmer's market, where Alec grooved out to the lady who plays the saw.

Then a quick stop at a Mission pub to meet a friend to watch the US and the UK play in the World Cup, before we went to visit R and B to see how work on their hen house is coming along.

Cruising

Most Fridays I pick Alec up from preschool and we go to the library. Now that our local branch has reopened, we usually walk, but today was special.

A rode his bike all the way there, and the librarians let us bring it in for safekeeping while we read and selected our books.

Last week we were all about helicopters, but this week we branched out to Airplane and FlyingMachine
